Dr. Tracy Packiam Alloway
Dr. Tracy Packiam Alloway is an award-winning psychologist whose research on working memory has transformed our understanding of learning and brain function. As a professor at the University of North Florida, she developed the world's first working memory test for educators and authored 15 books and over 100 scientific articles. Her research shows working memory at age five better predicts academic success than IQ. Through her SEN Superpowers children's book series, she highlights the cognitive strengths of children with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, reframing these differences as potential advantages. Dr. Alloway's expertise has been featured on Good Morning America, the Today Show, and various major media outlets. She received the Joseph Lister Award for outstanding science communication and continues to bridge research and practical applications for educators, parents, and clinicians.
